QUALITY CONTROL OF NURSERY
SERVICE IN PEDIATRIC IMPATIENT CLINIC DX SOETOMO HOSPITAL SURABAYA AS TOP
REFERAL HOSPITAL FOR EAST PART OF INDONESIA

Background:
These factors such as: good standard in
nursery service, human resources effectivity and level of client��s
satisfaction related to good result in improving the quality of nursing
service.
Design:
a cross sectional study
Setting:
Pediatric ward (including tropical disease
ward and neonate ward)of Dr. Soetomo Hospital
Sample: 123 respondent enrolled in this research.
Respondent from parents of patient (mostly the mother) that hospital %ed
two weeks or over
Method: collecting data from quetionare that fulbl by
client at that time the patient discharge from hospital.
These dates such as: nursery service hospital
performance, facility, simple and good procedure in service, relationship
between client-hospital team also nurses attitude were noticed.
Result: Seventy percent (70%) of respondent satisfied
to the nursery service, 93% mentioned that performance of hospital is good,
82% facility is quite good, 94% simple and good procedure in service, 84%
satisfied to relantionship between client �C hospital team.
Conclusion: From the
result showed that nursery service in pediatric impatient Clinic quite
good, but important to improving of good relantionship between
client-hospital team (including the nurses�� attitude) for the goal of
comprehensive services.
