APPLICATION OF
NURSE PROCEDURE IN TREATMENT OF PEDIA- PATIENTS WITH EPILEPSY CONTINUOUS
STATUS

Objective: To provide nurse procedure for pedia-patients
with epilepsy continuous status and evaluate its efficacy.
Methods: Reviewed the clinical data and made nurse
diagnoses: risk of injury resulted from twitch; Unconscious and larynx
conclusion. Resulted from obstruction of breath tract; latent complication
and alteration of vital signs resulted from brain edema due to repeated
twitch; fear resulted from anxious for prognosis. The nurse plan was made
to carry out: prevention of injury, prevention of breath tract obstruction,
stop of convulsion and prevention of brain edema, lowering temperature; and
psychological nurse.
Results: Pedia-patients�� condition was effectively improved;
their consciousness was recovery without any sequelae and complication; the
patients and their parents mastered some certain prevention measures.
Conclusion: Utilizing the nurse procedure can well assess the state of
pedia-patients with epilepsy continuous status and effectively prevent the
complication. As a result, it can improve the recovery of patients.
